History
At 65 Bleecker Street in NoHo, Manhattan, Nova Construction Services had the privilege of reviving the stunning facade of the Bayard-Condict Building, a gem of the Chicago School style.
Crafted by architect Louis Sullivan and Lyndon P. Smith in the late 19th century, this 12-story commercial structure boasts a terracotta facade divided into three sections. The facade’s upper stories, with piers separating the building vertically into five bays, were carefully preserved to maintain their distinctive character. One of the most captivating features is the six-winged angels adorning the cornice—a testament to the building’s timeless elegance.
