Duane Park Lofts
166 Duane Street New York, New York 10013
History
166 Duane Street, also known as Duane Park Lofts, was built in 1910 as a commercial and industrial building in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood. Designed in the Renaissance Revival style, the structure features a red-brick façade with a limestone base and decorative Beaux-Arts details, typical of early twentieth-century industrial architecture.
Later converted to residential use, the building was transformed into condominium loft homes in the late 1990s. Today, Duane Park Lofts continues to serve as a residential building that preserves much of its original character within the Tribeca Historic District.
